Steps and Leading Edge of Landings

Engineered to provide unparalleled visibility and safety, our tape offers a reliable solution for guiding occupants through stairwells and landing areas, even in low-light conditions.

Wall-mounted Perimeter Demarcation

In accordance with Section 1024.2.4.2, it is required to install wall-mounted perimeter demarcation lines. These lines should be positioned along the wall, ensuring that the bottom edge of the marking remains within 4 inches of the finished floor.

Door Frame Marking

Door frames must feature a solid and continuous 1-inch photoluminescent stripe marking on all sides as well as the top of the door.

Handrails

Handrails and their extensions must feature a solid and uninterrupted stripe along their entire top surface. Exceptions are permitted for gaps of up to 4 inches at bends or corners in the handrail.

Obstacles

Obstacles, which can include items such as pipes, fire hoses, emergency telephone boxes, and evacuation chair metal storage cabinets, are to be marked with a black-photoluminescent obstacle marking.

Directional Signage

With just four symbols, you can effectively mark any direction of your egress path. Simply position one running man sign alongside one arrow on a landing wall or a basement wall, directing upward to the ground floor.

Emergency Exit Symbols

To establish directional signage, pair a running man symbol door sign with an arrow, as recommended. With just four symbols, you gain the ability to indicate any direction along your egress path.

No Exit Signs

Illuminate the path to safety with our ‘No Exit’ signs, a vital component of emergency preparedness. These signs clearly indicate areas where occupants should not expect an exit route, ensuring they can navigate buildings confidently during critical situations.
